An iconic piece of mid-century design. 1950s Picquot Ware coffee pots were made from Magnailiam, an alloy of manganese and aluminium. When polished, they could give the appearance of silverware. They were designed to be cast in a single piece to ensure they would be waterproof for life. The handles are made of sycamore and the combination of shiny cold metal and warm tonal wood is pure poetry.
